World Mental Health Day

You may have noticed we had World Mental Health Day this week.  Have a look at our Twitter pages and watch the video that Prince Harry made with Ed Sheeran  –

Why is mental wellbeing important?

In the same way that looking after our physical health has great benefits, so does taking care of our mental health.  It can help us to relax more, sleep better, cope with difficulties and make the most of our opportunities.  It can also help us to feel good about ourselves, enjoy life and be more productive in our working lives.  Make sure you put time aside to support your mental health by doing the things that make you happy and are good for your wellbeing.  This could be sport, healthy eating, connecting with friends, family or your support network and reaching out for help if anything is playing on your mind.

If you feel you need support, the best thing you can do is talk to someone about it.
